    these fellas had a definate (intimate) bond with "the ballad". they knew how to write it, how to play it, how to sing it. each of these are very separate components that can make or break the success of a love song. they played with ease to the emoti...ons that seem to linger and envelope the essence we know of as love. i haven't heard all of their albums yet, but i can conclude from what i have experienced that Bread stands alone in understanding the art of writing, playing and singing "the ballad".     My Mom owns this album so I've heard it many a time. It's a good album to listen to when you want to wind down from the day or take a trip down memory lane. Aubrey, is, by far my favourite song.

    Greatly produced by David Gates, this compilation offers the best and the greatest from one of the most important pop-rock bands of the 70's. Sound quality could have been better, some songs may have suffered from the analog to digital transfer. A 2...0 track selection offering great music at a mid-price range cost.
