just when you have seen enough
Pros: Megan Follows, Jonathan Crombie, Colleen Dewhurst and the rest
Cons: NONE!!!
ah yes! just when you thought you have seen the best of Anne of Green Gables..they come up with a sequel that is equally superb with the first....it is pretty amazing how they were able to combined three books in one in this movie, but nevertheless it was done in good taste...i loved how Anne finally realizes she does indeed love Gilbert and how Gilbert had and will always love Anne....the ending was good! i must say Anne and Gilbert do really suit each other....Love this movie just as i have loved the first!!!

I thought this was an excellent follow-up off the original movie. I liked it alot and can't wait til the final one comes out. She brings out the personality that most people and she does it with such class. I just loved it.

While some great books are adapted into mediocre movies, Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel, as well as its predecessor, Annne of Green Gables, has gone from a wonderful book to movie form without lossing any of its heart or humour!
Anne makes it on her own (with a few bumps and bruises along the way), struggles with her writing, and discovers love in this movie that has you laughing through your tears.
Any romantic will love the final scene in this movie, which requires a box full of tissues each and every time I watch it.
As someone who finds that movies usually lose that spark found in the original book, Kevin Sullivan has done an amazing job in keeping it glowing.

Anne of Green Gables, The Continuing Story (made for tv movie, not yet released on video)

I have read the entire "Anne" series, and I have to admit that I really liked it. But they plots of three of LM Montgomery's books were put together for this movie. I'm surprised it worked out so well and the ending was perfect.
