Studied with Frederick Goosen, Bulent Arel, Daria Semegen, Mauricio Kagel, György Ligeti, Chour WenChung, Jack Beeson, Mario Davidowsky. Harpist, improvisor with many groups, including LeBaron/Smith/Dixon trio and LeBaron Quintet. Taught at Stony Brook, University of Alabama, Columbia University. Concerto for Active Frogs (1975), Strange Attractors for large orchestra (1987), many awards and commissions.
