Anna and the King
Pros: Awesome movie, Jodie Foster
Cons: Director,and Chow Yun Fat
"Anna and the King" is a brilliantly made movie. I am not a big fan of Andy Tennant's films, but this one I will make an exception. Jodie Foster is my favorite actress,and I absolutely love her work. She did an anmazing job in "The Silence of the Lambs", and was awesome in "Anna and the King". I however did not like Chow Yun Fat's performance. It was overly played and was agressive, yet sensitive. That was one on the few things I liked about his performance. Overall, the movie was amazing, and I recommend everybody to see it atleast twice.

I really enjoyed this movie. There were a few different storylines which kept switching back and forth, which I didn't expect. The scenery was beautiful, and the chemistry between Jodie Foster and Chow-Yun Fat was great. An all-around entertaining movie.

Beautiful movie, very heart touching, the best so far. A "real love" movie for those who really know what true love is about, not for lust lovers. See it with someone you really care about. So I say to you all fortunate ones, love the one you now have, cherish it, for who knows when the rose petal will fall to the ground.

Chow Yun Fat is the Clint Eastwood of the Orient! He is riveting. Costumes, scenery, and story are all excellent. What a movie!

A movie I will continue to enjoy over and over. The more you watch it the better it gets. Great acting and directing with beautiful costumes and scenery. I have been enjoying the soundtrack, it helps me make it thru the day. Can't wait to see Chow Yun-Fat in another American movie. He is now my favorite leading man.

Chow Yun Fat shows he's a versatile actor in this movie...not in his usual tough-guy-gun-blazing character, he delivers one of his best performance...something different for him and his fans...a must see

Okay, this movie was really bad. It was a pain just to sit through it, but being as OCD as I am, I can never not finish watching a movie once I've started it. The only thing that didn't make me give the movie a one is because the cinematics were beautiful -- at least it had a beautiful setting. Really not that worth seeing! Way too long too!

This is definetly a movie for people who love movies. It has all the makings of an epic. Great writitng a solid cast and beautiful locations. I cried my whole way through the movie even when I was laughing. Don't miss this or you will regret it.

No, not another action packed thriller, not an edge of your seat movie, and not a stand up comedy. Anna and the King is none of this, rather, itÂ’s much much more. The movie has a truly elaborate set up and is very accurate when it comes to costumes and environment. You will feel that you are living right there in that place, in that era. It is full of romance, and it also has its share of sarcastic humor. The movie has a combination of every emotion one can feel, especially sadness. The music is perfect for the moods and also foreshadows upcoming events to a certain point, but not enough to give it away. The acting is outstanding. Chow Yun-fat and Jodi Foster have never been better. They describe their emotions with their tone and especially their facial expressions. This is defiantly a movie to see.
