Pros: genre kicked out the door!!!!!

Cons: Not very friendly people FNM..

This is the best FNM record ever!!! all the polls show it and talk to any FNM fans out there & 50% will choose this record. For me it's got more relevence right now then it ever did, never feels outdated and always powerful!!Some of the best song...s of all time are on this record like ( Land of Sunshine- Midlife Crisis- Everything s Ruined- A Small Victory- Jizzlobber- Crack Hitler & Kindergarten!). These songs would make my top 30 songs ever! thge rest of the album still has some brutal trax like Caffeine- Malpractice & S maller & Smaller. out of these though only Caffeine stands out as essential the other two are overloaded with bumb-numbing heavyness and loudness!!. great album and recommend to anyone looking for music a little left of the centre!!!( Check out lyrix for R.V. Hilarious!!!) Read more Less

Pros: Well written to suit the music.

Cons: A couple of songs which dont have any real pick up.

This album was written in a way which could be looked at and thought to sound serious but can also be looked at as just taking the piss and not really serious at all which i guess suits every body. The music is awsome but unless you like faith no mor...e you may not appreatiate this album like a fan would. Probably there best album followed by king for a day in my opinion. Album of the year was ok but you got to have it cos it was there last. Read more Less

    A Truly Great Album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 8, 2004

Pros: Less mainstream, whole lot of experimentation

Cons: I pity the fans who were hoping for another "Real Thing".

Angel Dust is the highlight of Faith No More's far too short history. From the first song, "Land of Sunshine", you're whisked into a funky, grungy, and sometimes downright weird experience that gets your heart pumping. The problem w...ith this album was that it is the follow-up to the band's most successful and mainstream release - "The Real Thing". Fans scrambled to buy Angel Dust and were horrified that they had not only ditched the pop style but had delved into a deeper, heavier and definitely experimental sound. FNM's popularity plummetted in North America, their record label was ticked off at the band and it likely added to their growing internal turmoil. But, this is another story - enough of the tragic history of the band. Some of the greatest songs on the CD (difficult not to list them all) are Midlife Crisis, Everything's Ruined, Kindergarten and A Small Victory. I must admit, RV and Be Aggressive are the two weakest songs only due to the fact they stand out as comical and break up the feel of the album. In short, buy this album. Mike Patton's vocals are perfect, the band is creative and the music is hypnotizing. Read more Less

What? A Parental Advisory sticker on thi

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 4, 2002

What is up with putting PA stickers on the older albums? PA stickers belong to rap bands and nu metal bands. Faith No More is not a rap band or a nu metal band, so the PA sticker needs to be taken off.....immediately.

This album from fnm had to be one of the most important records of the 90's. its way better than the real thing. they really where at a creative peak with this album. everything from the lyrics, guitar play and etc was perfect. this record started th...e whole nu metal that would dominate the later part of the 90's Read more Less
