Pros: Great to listen to while studying, relaxing, reading and cooking.

I bought Andrea Bocelli’s latest CD because I own every one; I wasn’t disappointed. There is a little of everything, including a beautiful duet between Bocelli and the classical work of Spanish guitarist, Mario Reyes. Once again Bocelli has managed to produce a tasteful compilation that highlights his love for both Italian opera and pop. For example, “Un Nuovo Giorno” (The First Day of the Rest of My Life), which features electric guitar riffs, drums and piano, does not over power more subtle and emotional pieces like “Dell’ Amore Non Si Sa.” In sum the album is well orchestrated and very enjoyable to listen to.

Pros: Incredible duets with amazing singers

Cons: style is a bit different from traditional bocelli

Since Bocelli’s debut in America I have enjoyed all of his albums and I feel like they’ve successively gotten better. From the raw emotion and moving melodies of Romanza to the colorful tunes of Cieli di Toscana which depict the Tuscan landscape so well, his performances captivate and touch the soul. Bocelli’s newest album, Andrea, is no exception. Singing in Italian, Spanish and English, Bocelli broadens his horizons with songs like “Sin Tu Amor” a duet with Mario Reyes and “Where Love Goes” with Holly Stell. Bocelli ventures outside his traditional singing methods in this album while maintaining the Italian opera and pop styles which made him so popular, this album is a definite must get.
