Pros: Good dialogue, funny lines

Cons: A bit overboard, a little too silly. Will Ferrell overdoes it.

Will Ferrell can be funny, but in this movie he is a little too stupid to be believed. I have always loved Fred Willard, but he has to be one of the worse actors of all time. Overall it was worth watching for its funny moments and a comic relief from the current dark offerings from movieland.

Pros: Some funny comedy

Cons: Pretty dull movie throughout

I don't know if I would spend the money to rent this one again, or not. It's OK and if you are a major fan of Colin, you will like it. He's OK, but for me it's a comparison of Steve Martin in the Jerk. It's so stupid and funny you can't help but watch it all the way through.

Pros: hilarious movie

Cons: no sequel

This is the kind of movie to get if you don't care about plot, acting, or character development. It's just good for making you laugh your butt off. I thought Steve Carrel was the funniest person in this movie.
it's one of my favorite comedies.

Pros: everything

Cons: should this even be here for such a good movie

Its more than just frosted flakes greeeeeeeeat. This is the type of movie you would show your friends, family, distant cousins, some hobo, your preacher,your favorite professor and many more. whit such politically charged lines as "This is sex panther it works 40% of the time every time". How could you not like such a funny, pardon my french "kick-ass" movie.

Pros: Cast and their take on the news.

Cons: Slow at times

Hilarious movie that doesnt take itself too serious, and thats also what you must do as a viewer. Put yourself in the timeframe of the movie and the state of mind of the actors. Paul Rudd and Vince Vaughn were equally funny.


Not the best from Will but still a solid comedy.

Pros: Will Ferrell is funny again! Great cast of characters! Some hilarious moments!

Cons: Very unoriginal story. Some parts drag on.

Anchorman is a pretty funny movie. Will Ferrell is very funny like he usually is in his movies. Christina Applegate is also very hot! The movie has a great cast of characters including: Vince Vahgan, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and other famous faces. The only things that stopped this movie from being VERY funny are the storyline and "dragging on" parts. The storyline is highly unoriginal and most of these types of movies have the same, exact storyline. Another thing is that some parts end up dragging on a little too long that is becomes boring. Other than that, Anchorman is a great comedy that any Will Ferrell fan will love. But if you want something that will knock your socks off in laughter, you could try and look for something else.

Cons: The writing, the humor, the acting

If not for the saving grace of Steve Carrell and Fred Willard, this movie would be my new "worst movie ever" replacing Hannibal. The humor is sophmoric, the acting wooden, and the storyline unoriginal. If you want to see something funny, look at Elf or Old School and stay away from this one.

Will tries to stretch a 90 second sketch into a feature film. Please Will, do not become Dan Akroyd putting out crappy film after crappy film.

If you love will and think Elf was a masterpiece you will hate this.
