Cons: Sometimes a little too much Al, but we love him anyway
Climate change is real and we are effecting it. Everyone needs to be aware of this and find out what they can do to reverse the damage done. Al Gore lays out the evidence and consequences and simple, easy to understand terms. Everyone in America and the world needs to watch this DVD, pass it along to a friend, and then change your life. ...

Pros: Informative, engaging, funny, well-made
Cons: interviews with other experts would have been nice
We live in such an age of selfish indulgence that we seldom stop to realize how much we are ruining the environment, and this documentary shows why we need to start doing something about it now, not in five or ten more years. Gore demonstrates through pretty solid evidence that glaciers worldwide are diminishing and carbon dioxide is filling the air at an unprecedented rate. Though some didn't like Gore's semi-autobiographical moments in the film, I found they portrayed a human side to a prominent politician who has experienced injustice, pain, and loss just like the rest of us yet can still poke fun of himself in the process while trying to do something real and meaningful for a change (compared to Republicans!). ...
