An American Tail: Fievel's Gold Rush Game Boy Advance

Loosely based on the 1986 animated film An American Tail and its 1991 sequel, Fievel's Gold Rush finds the young mouse on a six-level adventure as he sets out to find the scattered pieces of a treasure map. The evil Cat Malone has abducted Fievel Mousekewitz' family as a bargaining chip for the map, which supposedly leads to an abandoned gold mine filled with untold riches. Enemies ranging from mouse Indians and rats to deadly spiders and cats attempt to stop Fievel as he progresses through each side-scrolling stage, taking place along the dark streets of New York City as well as the arid desert of Gold Dust Gulch. To help Fievel overcome the various obstacles in his path, players can jump, swing, ride a mine cart, and run to avoid harm's way. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
