The hiphop/electronica duo Ammoncontact, comprised of high school friends and former Los Angeles radio DJ Carlos Niño and Rhode Island native Fabian Ammon Alston, made their debut on the 2001 compilation Dublab Presents: Freeways with their song "Chord, Pts. 1 and 2."
