French singer Amine stormed the pop charts with a distinctive style he called Raï'n'Bi.e., a fusion of Algerian Raï and American RB. Born Amine Mounder in Casablanca, Morocco, he vaulted to overnight success in 2005 when his debut single "Ma Vie" peaked at number 15 on the French chartsat year's end, he also issued his first LP, Au delà des rêves.
