    Stay Away From American Retro

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 28, 2010

    Pros: There is none.

Cons: Everything from their products to their owner.

My grandson received the American Retro Deluxe Fire Truck Product Code: AR-2003 as a gift from a deseased second aunt. My grandson enjoyed the truck for 2 weeks until he cut himself on a sharp edge. Looking over the Fire Truck I can see that somethin...g was missing because where he got cut there was a place where a screw should go. Thats when I started looking on the internet. I can see that my grandsons fire truck was missing the grab bars and ladders. My daughter not having much room in her small apartment being a single mom had already trown out the box that the fire truck came in. I emailed to American Retro telling them of the truck. We went back and forth with emails. Over 20 of them. Not even the owner David Johnson would help me. They insisted it may not be their truck. They are the only company who makes this particular Fire Truck. I almost forgot to mention about the truck already has rust all over it. So parents and granparents stay away from American Retro. The government needs to go after these type of companies who don't back up their products. Read more Less
