Pros: Good songs
Cons: But not enough of the great songs in the movie
The song after the big Party in AP2 is, "Say you'll stay" by either Jewel or Kai.

I agree with everyone else who believes that a movie soundtrack should actually contain songs from the movie... Apperently something was lost between the screen and the stereo... Virtually none of the songs that I loved in the movie are on the CD. Don't waste your money.

I like this album a lot. It's fun to listen to, even if most of the bands can only play 3 chords.

if they were to put all those cool songs from the movie on the soundtrack, then we would all buy it and wouldn't buy the albums that those songs are from. Note that most of the bands on this cd were on the movie but they put on a song that wasn't on the movie so we can all see that the bands have more than one good song and then we will all go and buy the albums. Corporate money hungry pricks. It would have been great to have a cd with all those songs from the movie but we can thank crafty record execs for the crap tracklisting.

i love this cd and it always starts my day perfectly!!! It's a great all time, good time, party or just chillin cd. I see the movie in my head when i listen to it...or i see myself cruzin in my car...it's definately a must have....jeannine

Oh my god is this a good cd. It goes right along with the movie, an instant good times classic. You just have to have fun with it. It minipulates you to have fun. You can't help it but laugh and remember the good ole' times of American Pie 2.

A lot of very good songs that were in the movie are not on the soundtrack. Why does this always happen with soundtracks? The songs you heard and enjoyed in the movie that make you want to buy the soundtrack are not there (Smooth Criminal, Everywhere, etc.) but songs from people you never heard of that were not in the movie are on the soundtrack. Does this make sense to anyone??? I guess it is assumed you will run out and buy the CD after seeing the movie without checking the song list first.

Unfortunately this album is missing all the good songs that were in the movie like: Flavor Of The Weak, The Rock Show, Hit Or Miss, Smooth Criminal and Want You Bad. The music in the movie was beyond awesome but the soundtrack is pathetic!
