I bout this album for the pictures and they are all ugly people. where are cute one like rubem? bad songs. bad muisics. bad cover. I paid 2 dollars at Walgreens Checkout and now I am broke, stupid idiot don't buy this unless I can offer mine/

Honestly I just bought this cd for kelly and tamyra. ALL the other songs suck (but one of justin's is ok). Don't waste your money on this.

Well i must say that, this CD isnt as bad as every1 says it is.
KELLY CLARCKSON - NATURAL WOMAN & RESPECT
this girl can sing and im not suprised she won as she did make most of the songs she performed on the show, she made her own. She does great covers of these songs, with natral woman being a little more memorble than respect, id rather of her recorded i cant live in which she sang during the final three.
JUSTIN GUARINI - FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE & GET HERE
good covers, but dont really appeal to me, i wasnt a real big fan of his, though he has an amazing voice. Get here is the better track of the two as he seems to put more feeling and soul into it.
NIKKI MCKIBBIN - PIECE OF MY HEART
im really suprised by this track as its one of the most memorable ones on the album . . she puts a good rock chick twist to the song and makes it her own.
TAMYRA GRAY - HOUSE IS NOT A HOME
not really suprising as i expected this to be amazing, although her live version had a little more emotion and raw feeling to it . . but still amazing
RJ HELTON - LATELY
i find this track boring nothing really to it, just like any of his performances on the show and how he beat chrstina christian to the final 5 ill never know.
CHRISTINA CRISTIAN - AINT NO SUNSHINE
my favourite on the album . . this girl has an amazing smooth voice and makes this song her own from the word go . . suprised she never made it to the final 4, but this song on the album proves why she made it to the final 6 and why america was stunned at her early exit from the show.
the rest of the songs arent really worth mentioning . . . well RYAN STARR tries but the song does nothing for me as do none of the others, none have any feeling and are a waste of the album space when the spaces could be been given for other great renditions like BLACK VELVET by Niki, the alouring rendition of AT LAST by Christina and practically every song sung by Kelly and Tamyra.

Why would I pay for an album of other people's hits? Remember folks, this was a talent show, although we all fell in love with Kelly Clarkson, we all have people we know that are great singers. If you give them the financial support and professional guidance they could be like Kelly. The true test will be in 5 years, this CD will be in your collection, will you listen to it over the original? Also, it all comes back to bucks. AI is shoving this stuff down the public's throats. Not because it's great, but we're all in a frenzy for it.
By the way, I bought the CD, it's good, but not great... not like the originals.

If you liked the show, you will love this cd. It gives us another chance to experience the great talent that we saw on the show. This is the best colaboration of songs that I have seen. I highly recommend this cd for the entire family. It is great.

I think American Idol: Greatest Moments is the best CD ever made. With a mix of Respect, Piece of my heart, A house is not a home, and many more, this CD is great for all ages and all people! If you like rock music, you've got Nikki. If you like slow love ballads, you've got Tamyra and Christina. If you like songs by Aretha Franklin, you've got a double dose from Kelly! I love this CD, and I bet you will too! So get your copy now!

I think American Idol's Greatest Moments is a great cd to sum up the American idol season. Not only does it feature Kelly Clarkson, the winner, but also some of the people that didn't make it (Tamara G., Nikki M., and Justin G.). I especially like the California Dreamin' utilizing everyone. Great job! Buy this Cd!

If you have not checked out the new American Idol Greatest Moments CD then you are definitely missing out! This CD shows the American Idol Top 10 finalists at their absolute best, being it a slow love ballad to an upbeat dance tune. Anybody who was an American Idol fan will love hearing Kelly Clarkson belt out her version of "Respect," and Nikki McKibben let everyone know what it is like to have a "Piece of my Heart." I'm sorry but these "idols" wouldn't know the first thing about being an idol. Real idols work their asses off to become icons in the entertainment biz...these "fame-seekers" stood on a line for 10 hours and made it onto a reality show. If that's considered busting your hump and climbing thru years of hell for respect, then Twinkies are people too. Kelly does have a great voice (she's very talented)but that's all I'll give them, the others are ok...but good singers are a dime a dozen in America. It's true. It's true.

Essentially this is just a souvenir of the TV show. Most of the performances are OK, but the songs by Christina and Tamyra are first rate. As for Kelly's single, "A Moment Like This" is fine, but "Before Your Love" is unbelievable. There should have been more performances by Tamyra, the best singer of the contest. Her album will be huge when it comes out, and so will Kelly's and Christina's. Don't know about the rest but Justin could make it as a lounge singer in Vegas. I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, but it was exactly as I expected and I'll give the album three stars. It was entertaining but not earth shaking.
