    Pros: move story line, acting

    Cons: DVD quality, features

    I just love this move. It is onle of my favorite movies of all time. It is funny and I just love the acting of JoBeth WIlliams too. It is a must for any comedy collection, and to watch it on a rainy day.

    A very clever, well-paced spoof of the romance
    genre, and one of the funniest films of the 1980s. A true crowd-pleaser, with Tom Conti
    doing his best acting job ever.

    Probably one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Jobeth Williams gives a great comedic performance that ends in her poignant awakening awareness of years wasted on a dead marriage.     A hidden gem!

    Most people probably missed this one in the Theatre. I know I did. But one day it was recommended to me by a video store clerk and it has been my favorite movie ever since. Good clean fun, GREAT chemistry between Tom Conti and JoBeth Williams, and la...ugh out loud funny. I HIGHLY recommend this movie to anyone who wants to spend a night watching a truly fun movie that the whole family can atch and enjoy. Read more Less
