i wish i had a 5.1 set-up here back home so i could REALLY appreciate the sound dynamics that were put into this record. the cover gives a overly detailed description (part poetic license already) on how they recorded, and the result is nothing short... of mesmerizing. you may be put off at how the songs may be formulaic: hollow-sounding drums, reverbed guitars, vocals pushed to the backgrounds, but on further listening do the songs create identities for themselves. it was a good thing Darla reissued this almost lost CD. highly recommended for those who like chillout, but are tired of synths and digital sounds.this CD will still sound fresh after 10 years. without a doubt.
