This cerebral and finely-tuned Watergate docudrama is unquestionably one of the best political thrillers ever made. Because this film is often criticized for its slow pace and lack of car chases and gun battles, people often miss the point. This film was never designed to be action packed. Rather, its primary goal was to gradually unfold in layers, unfolding until the core was reached. The core being the White House, and ultimately, the reputation and integrity of Richard Nixon and his staff.
The inner dealings of Washington's political hardpan and the pernicious and paranoid machine of the Republican party are brought to light to educate the audience, as well as entertain. This is late-night popcorn fare. See it.

Best Watergate Movie Ever

I thought that All the President's Men was one of the best movies I've seen. I highly reccomend it. It isn't very educational, and isn't an edge of your seat thriller, but is still real cool.
