    For a film that is over 70 years old, it didn't fail on moving me. Great battle scenes and monologues that have yet to be surpassed. A must see for any film lover.

    An incredible depiction of World War I, a senseless slaughter on all sides. The film puts a human face on the tragedy, but also shows us the changes that great adversity can bring about in a human being.
