    I was a blues DJ on a college radio station when I first heard Kimbrough and his Fat Possum buddy, R.L. Burnside. Compared to the overproduced crap we got from the big blues labels, they were a revelation- hypnotic, ragged, and powerful music. "All ...Night Long" is Kimbrough's debut album, and also his finest. Unlike some of his later work, the songs don't all start sounding like each other towards the end. Truly a great album. Read more Less
