The Best Film with Bette Davis

The best Bette Davis film in my opinion. The entire case was superb and in my eyes, perfect. Keep a look out for a soon to be discovered Marilyn Monroe in the infamous cocktail party scene.

This is an wonderfully told story about betrayal and deceit. Bette Davis gives a stunning performance as an insecure and aging actress. Celeste Holm portrays a wonderfully loyal and honest friend--as does Thelma Ritter. I think the BEST performance however, was that of George Sanders (Addison DeWitt)as the SHREWD theatre critic. He turned out to be the only one who could really HANDLE the deceitful and cunning Eve. There was also humorous cameo appearance by Marilyn Monroe.

Fantastic in every way. Great acting, writing, directing, etc. No wonder it's considered to be one of the best movies ever made. Bette Davis gives one of her finest performances as Margo and Anne Baxter is chilling as Eve. Reminded me a bit of "Election" in that the audience sees just how creepy and annoying go-geters can be. Highly recommended.

Ever since I saw it my Film as Literature class, I loved it. The acting is so amazing that it brings excitement into the room, where it was being shown. This film has so much meaning in it! The ending will leave you satisfied! Go see it for yourself! It is beyond words!
