    A among all the others

Pros: great sound quality/ noise cancellation

Cons: charger/ end of headset where charger plugs in is cheaply made

there are more pros than cons with this headset, i bought mine new when it first came out for $119.95 and thought it looked really cool and loved the demo. the demo of the noise cancellation was correct, and now that i have bought this i wont talk to anyone who calls me while driving or in noisy conditions. everyone i call can tell the difference, and its a good one. the earpiece that goes behind your ear is thin metal and if carried in your pocket can break VERY easily, which to me is a major flaw, and when i plugged the charger in to the headset to charge it, then pulled it off the next morning the black plastic from the headset came off completely exposing internal components.

as far as sound quality and ease of setup, they couldnt be better, and all the options you have for comfort are great (the box includes several different ear pieces that you can change out to fit your ear perfectly...i can move around, lay down, just about anything and it wont come loose, i absolutely love that. im waiting on a jawbone 2, hopefully they put the earpiece together better and id like something a bit smaller, but thats my own hangup...i do highly recommend this earpiece, and its true what they say about it...you can talk in a noisy restaraunt, walking through a mall or just about anywhere except extreme wind and be very clear to the person on the other end.

    Good system

By Curry Fever  Jun 29, 2007 | 0 out of 2 found this Aliph Jawbone Noise Cancelling Silver Headset review helpful

    Pros: Cool looking, good quality

Cons: Not as good as company claims

I love the Jaw bone headset! This is my 5th headset and so far the best one. I paid 120 bucks but I am seeing you get what you pay for... I would reccomend this headset to others. Only issues is when I use it in strong wind the person whom I am talking to can not hear me well. Other than that, I love this system!

Perfect partner for my Blackberry and iPhone

By Todd  Jun 22, 2007 | 2 out of 3 found this Aliph Jawbone Noise Cancelling Silver Headset review helpful

    Pros: Call Quality

    Cons: Charger connector

I received the ATT branded packaging, in all its orange and blue glory. The headset was the silver color, which I think blends better than the black or red version. The device is very nice looking, with a flashing white activity light. The weight and comfort are the best I have ever experienced. There are several hook and ear piece combinations, so it took several fittings before I found the best fit. Its not that the default one was uncomfortable, but changing allowed for the optimal comfort and fit. The design is very pleasing and the quality of the plastic is impressive. I really like how the ear piece rotates and locks in place.

Pairing the device with my Blackberry was simple and straightforward. I was happy that the Blackberry allowed me to keep my existing pairing with my in-car setup. So now I simply power the Jawbone off when I get in my car. However, I believe the sound quality through the Jawbone is much better that my car's factory installed Bluetooth setup.

The power adapter and USB charging cable is a mixed bag. The cable is very light and thin, which makes it easy to pack and travel with. It is a special connector, not mini-USB, like on my Blackberry or RAZR, and given its unique design, you are required to carry it. The good news is the USB charging cable, with its small thin design can be plugged into any USB port. The connector on the headset is another disappointment; it has a small rubber cover that must be removed to plug in the charger. I don’t think it will be around for very long, so I have a pretty good idea on where the dust and dirt will end up. The Power adapter brick design is horrible; the brick is not small and super wide. This width is better suited for a normal wall outlet, but doesn’t work well with a power strip. The brick takes two slots and once you get the cable plugged in, it is four wide. I feel a vertical or swivel plug design would have been better.

Moving on to use and call quality. First let me start with, I never dreamed that one could carry on QUALITY conversations in the places that I am able to now. I have seen many, with their blue flashing non-Jawbone headsets, having conversations everywhere. Which left me wondering, what must the person on the other end have done to be subjected to this torture. Having been tortured this way in the past, I don’t want to put my caller in the same situation. Now I can have my anywhere conversations without subjecting my caller to the ear torture. Watch the video on Jawbone website, my experience is just as they demonstrate, amazing and unbelievable.

    Summary:
The noise cancellation feature alone makes this headset a must buy. The quality that is adds to your voice conversations is worth the extra baggage, plus the person on the other end will also thank you. Will I carry it with me everywhere? No, but I will now have two phone parts with me during my daily routine and my built-in ear makes transportation easy.
