    Pros: very cool predator weopons

    my favorite movie of the year with great tech in the alien design. The predators weapons are extremaly cool.unfortunatly the ending was easily predicted.the hstory of the war was very unique. i especily love the facehuggers and chestburters.

    Pros: special effects

    Cons: storyline

    Special effects aren't enough to save this movie from its combined cheesey scenes and poor acting. Lance Henriksen who was Bishop in Aliens was brought back as a completely unrelated character in AVP. This twist isn't the only cheese! Somewhe...re near the end a predator and human have a scene together that's almost romantic... not quite kissing or shaking hands... just dopey. I would have stopped watching at this point but the movie was almost over. In the end, fans of the original Alien and Aliens movies will definately be disappointed while Governator fans, especially those who enjoyed T3, are more than likely going to find more of the action-packed garbage they've come to enjoy from Hollywood.     This film Alien vs Predator is good.....special effects are not enough to save this movie from it is combined cheesey scenes and poor acting...but my favorite movie of the year with great tech in the alien design..I love this film:)

    Pros: Great effects, high-speed shots, edgy action scenes.

    Cons: Weaker story.

    Two of the most famous Sci-fi/horror icons by 20th Century Fox studios clash in this action flick. By the looks of it, the film may be better than the gory "Freddy vs. Jason" (which I haven't watched yet, but still...). The story though..., is weaker compared to the superior film franchises of the two alien monsters. I suggest you start with them first before you go to this. Read more Less

    The battle finally begins

    Cons: 20th Century Fox edited the R rating out of the movie

    I waited for this movie since Predator was released in 1987. Walking out of the theater, I remember saying "The Predator should hunt the Aliens, that would make a great movie." And it did. This movie tied all of the ALIENs and PREDATOR movi...es, all of the comics and graphic novels, and all of the books together perfectly. The story stayed true to the legend and lore of both ALIENs and PREDATORs while expanding on them. I can't wait for AVP 2 which is scheduled to release in 2007. 20th Century Fox wanted to make a bigger profit off of this movie, so they edited it down to a PG-13 rating, cutting out some of the blood and gore ALIEN and PREDATOR fans are used to seeing in those movies. That aside, I recommend this movie to fans of those series, or any science fiction fans. Read more Less

    Well, never thought there would be AVP lol..I quite liked the movie and it told about the origins of both species b4 the previous Predator and Alien movies...Good special effects in this movie, did needed more killing in the movie. Overall it was a g...ood movie. Read more Less

    Pros: Loved the action between Aliens and Predators.

    Cons: Loss of Sebastian

    It was really interesting to know that humans worshipped the Preds in the past yet they hunted us in the modern versions of the Pred movies. As for the Aliens, they are just Aliens. Business as usual.

    this movie totally sucked !!!!!the only reason i went was because some one wanted me to go and paid my way..it sucked so bad i wouldn't recomened it to anyone.stay away from this movie don't buy it ..it bites...
