Cons: nothing except a quarter of the actors are now dead
As a child I had this movie taped from a copy of a copy of a copy from the TV! The recopying somehow made "shadows" of the images (think quadruple exposure), and I would have to strain my eyes just to see things clearly. Despite this, it has been a favorite of mine, and I've even gotten in trouble in high school with fellow loyalists by singing the many songs during class. My (ex)bf bought me the first half as a surprise, and I was overcome with joy. I bought the second half for myself, and I still manage to watch it several times a year...I'll never outgrow this movie. Plus, it's fun to see John Stamos as a pageboy, Scott Baio as a pig, Sammy Davis Jr as a tap dancing catepillar, Ringo Starr as a mock turtle, etc etc :-D ...

This is a fabulous movie of my childhood. I have looked for it everywhere and was hysterical when I found it under my Christmas tree this year. My mom had originally taped it from TV before I was born and made two copies when she realized I would soon wear it out. It was lost in a move and now that I have it back my life is complete. Its better than ever and the best quality. (even for the 80s) I love love love this movie. The costumes, scenery and characters are all shockingly amazing. BUY NOW!! ...
