    This was an excellent mini series. It had strong characters and told passionately the story of that family and of that time period including horrific yet real brutality inflicted on people. Both Halle Berry and Jasmine Guys performances were amazing ...and heartwrenching and left an impression on me even to this day as an african american woman. This movie was an example of an excellent job done with such difficult subject matter. Read more Less
