    The "Album" features some interesting twists to ABBA's sound. After their hugely successful "Arrival" album(my all time favourite) ABBA tried something a little different this time around. The "Album" has many high points such as "Eagle", "Take a Ch...ance on Me", and "Hole in Your Soul." The last three tracks, featured a different approach to what ABBA usually do in a pop song. The 3 scenes from a mini musical including ABBA's anthem "Thank you for the Music" center around longer song structures and some amazing vocal prowess from Agnetha and Anni-Frid, thus really showing they are world class vocalists in every sense of the word.     I love ABBA, every since I heard Dancing Queen, I just fell in love with their music. I have one of their tapes but i would like their whole collection. They have a very distinguishing sound and the voices blends so well.

    First the very open air sound on "Eagle" and then the tight acapella intro to "Take A Chance On Me" !!! Brilliant ! There are many styles on this album: rock like "Hole In Your Soul", musical like "Thank You For The Music", R&B-feel like "The Name Of... The Game" and latin like "Move On". Read more Less
