Christian posthardcore band Akissforjersey formed in North Carolina in 2004 and quickly gained popularity throughout the state. Matthew Bean (guitar), Cory Wood (vocals, guitar), Zach Dawson (vocals), Tyler Lucas (bass), and Joey Allen (drums) signed with Tragic Hero and released their debut, Keep Your Head Above Water, in 2006. Victims followed two years later.
