As in the original Age of Empires, you'll choose to lead one of several historically based tribes, each toiling to construct the diverse selection of buildings required to support a growing civilization.

Now your microcosm of mankind must hunt for food and work hard for the wood, gold and rock needed to construct more ambitious buildings, such as temples and town halls. You must also build up defenses so that your society can hold its own against neighboring tribes and fight with archers and wooden catapults.
