A little disappointing

Pros: the missy elliott produced tracks

Cons: snails pace of the other songs

Monica missed a beat with this one. Only buy if you are a hardcore monica fan, which i'm not, so i wish i wouldn't have bought it. "Knock-Knock", "So Gone", and the intro are about the most entertaining parts of the album, along with "set it off". everything else just seems like a mis-fire, and completely seperate from the previously mentioned songs.

Man i just love Monica latest record. "So Gone" is the best song in this record and "U Should've Known Better" is really nice 2 hear when playin in ur car. It 2 bad people are more into Beyonce because this has 2 been the greatest CD she ever did. I just cant wait 4 her to make another hit record u go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monica, girl, where have u been? I thought I lost ya for a second.
This album is amazing. Monica was one of those artists who would have banging tracks on the radio, but a terrible album (like Eve). But ole girl done showed her butt. My personal favorites are "Too Hood," "Searchin," and "I Wrote This Song."
It is all around good. You're a fool not to buy this album!

Monica gave us the best r&b album this year. She is a wonderfull singer and this album adds to the two great ones she had b4. I will always listen to her especially on the ballads ( terrific voice ) I think it is fair to say that the bot is definitely hers lol.

I'm loving the flow of this joint. Monica is back, and After the storm is well worth the wait. The music is funky, and the lyrics flow like poetry taking you on an insightful journey on where she has been and where she is going. Congratulation Monica the album is hot.

Never a fan

I have never been a Monica fan too much, I liked a couple singles but I decided to listen to this album. Thank god I didn't buy it. I wasn't too surprised though, "So Gone" is such a fuckin annoying song! I hate it. It's repetitive. But, the song "Get It Off"--wow, that song rocks. I listen to it all the time. Very sexy. Only good song on album.

This is the best R&B album to come out in a long time. Monicas voice is amazing and for the first time she is writing her own lyrics. Missy did and excellent job producing. Ashanti could take some lessons.

I love Monica and I love her voice. My parents got me the abulm for my birthday and it wasn't what I expected at all. I thought the CD was gone be hype, with her having the top single and #1 abulm and all. It was as though the songs just didn't quite fit her voice. This abulm was okay but it can't beat the other two.

I have Monica's first two albums and those were great but this album was not what I expected. I love "So Gone" and maybe three other songs. I don't like the song with her and Dmx I think its #4 that song is so stupid to me and I really didn't want to here the rest of the album after that. I'm glad my man brought this album for me cause I would not have brought it.
