Afrodita is a Latin alternative duo from Mexico City whose entertaining live performances and outrageous costumes are as often noted as its eclectic, electrobased style of music. Comprised of Immanuel Miralda and Karin Burnett, the duo made its commercial recording debut in 2008 with the fulllength album La Reina del Palenke on the independent label Discos Tormento.
