    I have missed Brandy's style since Never Say Never. Her last album had too many techno beats that covered up her voice. I enjoy this album because Brandy actually tells us what she went through in her life through these songs. My favorite song so... far is "I Tried." There's something about that song that makes me keep playing it over and over... maybe it's the electric guitar.Brandy and Timbaland... a good combo! Read more Less

    Pros: The girl's beautiful voice

    i have to say that i was hugely dissapointed with this album. i bought it today and after listening to it, i can honestly say i only like about 6 songs off of a 15 song album with no interludes. after hearing the beautiful 'talk about our love...9; featuring and produced by kanye west on the radio, i was thinking the real brandy is back ... the one who believes in simple R&B music. while i enjoyed her last album, it wasn't her. i thought the beats would be over on this album and we would get a CD full of sultry, breezy, voice empowering R&B music. that is what i thought hearing her single. but instead, timbaland (as great a producer he is) made her cd into a collection of beats (i love beats, but it belongs on a certain person, not brandy)...the best song on here is "Where You Wanna Be" featuring T.I. which is also produced by West. that song is what i imagined the whole album to be like. i like tracks 2, 3, & 5 just fine but 4 & 6 are the best, hands down. after 6, the CD goes down hill quite a bit. i understand brandy has grown up and matured ... it shows in her image and in her lyrics but i will always cherish the 'i wanna be down' brandy. aaliyah (RIP) is the woman who fits the beats well. her third and final album fit her like a comfortable shoe. beyonce fits the beats although has a voice that shows them off. brandy is all about simplicity to me. her rich voice should take the lead, not the beats.     okay i am a huge brandy fan i been a fan of hers for shes and i been waiting on this album for about a year and its just what i thought it was a great album its better than beyonces debut last summer this album is hot,sexy,cool and all grown up the a...lbum people can really relat to it bacause it talks about love lost,new found love,the music industry,her marriage and the list keeps going on she has a lot of wonderful songs on this album even a hand fuel of singles this album has 15 tracks and i can say only one i'm not really into .i recommend people go cope this album so brandy can be number 1 and if you thought beyonce,monica,alicia,ash

    Candy for my ears, I think im the only one who feels that intro. I feel as though a lot of artist go through stuff such as break-up and divorce but never express it as boldly as Brandy did in that song.Afrodisiac has a great beat that has 2nd single ...potential.Turn it up has been my song for months now I think it has potential for pop audiences.Come as you are has a real nice beat the beat drives that song.Brandy is not a Beyonce or Monica and many try to put her in that catagory but she has a very unique voice to me.Brandy also only talks about stuff on her album that shes going through.Her extended ad-libs put her in a high rank on my list.Afrodisiac is good Read more Less
