    This album isn't as "metal" as their older material...But it is a beautiful masterpiece... My personal favorites are Venus and Poppaea...Another band that has ToT's atmosphere is Faith & the Muse.

    Go to mp3.com and check an artist called 'The Legend of The Sleeping River'...a band very similar ToT but has some ambient and 80's pop influences. But don't worry, they sound NOTHING like Musique and their music style is very close to ToT's Aegis......hailz Read more Less

    What shall i say? Great music! every single track is just great! people this is a masterpiece! all theatre of tragedy albums are great and i have'em all! but i hate Musique and i wish i didnt buy it! Aegis is a Gothic masterpiece

    This is one of the most beuatiful gothic metal album I have ever heard, the production is crystal clear, the blending of various instruments are unbelievabaly well done, and I also love the fantasy-like atmosphere throughout the album. Track 2, 5, 6,... 7 are killer tracks, and people who wants some clean, beautiful gothic metal music should get this album without any hesitation... Read more Less
