Unquestionably the most perfect voice an ear will have the fortune of being exposed to. It truly touches the core. I saw Minnie perform in Nashville, TN in the '70 and she was beautiful and truly a lady.

While the followup album to Perfect Angel didn't prove as successful, it was a good effort. She tried a more mixed crop of songs, doing love ballads, uptempo funk and dance, and even some light pop. Nothing got her back on the charts, but it was still an effective release. Riperton was nearly injured during the photo shoot for the cover when the lion pictured on the album attacked her. Fortunately, she escaped serious injury.
