About Acrophet
Acrophet arose from the Milwaukee suburb of Brookfield, WI. in 1986, with a membership of founder Dave Pellino (guitar), Dave Bauman (vocals, bass), Todd Saike (guitar), and Jason Mooney (drums). Their music was standard-issue speed metal, technically adept but without much personality to set them apart from the pack. The group issued two albums, 1988's Corrupt Minds and 1990's Faded Glory, before themselves fading from sight.
