    Pros: I was able to plug it in by using my old Samsung cables so I did not have to unpack the new ones! Made it simpler to pack it back up for return to the store.

    Cons: Wide screen simply distorts the picture by spreading it out sideways! "Extra space" is meaningless. Pictures are distorted. Furthermore, installing the software left me with an error message that would not go away, and even after I uninstalled the software, the error message has to be cancelled 2 or 3 times before the computer will finishing rebooting.

    I put one star up there because otherwise the thing would not take! The correct overall rating is no stars.

    The quality of the display cannot compare with the display on our old Samsung SyncMaster 713v, which is now back in place.
