    Bowie: Can he really act?

    Right, first things first, I haven't seen the film but I have seen Bowie play live at the Glastonbury festival and he did play the song Absolute Begginners (which he called his favorite love song of the 80's!) Now from what I gather about this film ...the acting is really bad and a special treat is when Bowie performs an impromptu tap dance routine - This has gotta be something to see, really it has. Now the film has got to be so bad it's good way due to the cast Bowie, by no means a terrific actor (see Merry Chritmas Mr. Laurence, where he plays a 15 year old in one scene) and also support from Patsy Kensit (you are joking right?) Now the reason why I have given it 5 stars even though I haven't seen it is because of all the stuff I have heard about it - Bowies acting, possibly piss poor, the way he talks, all his poses (I really wish there was a piss take David Bowie Acting Masterclass website, if there is I haven't found it) and all the other stuff about it, I hope to buy this film soonNow ask yourself this question that will puzzle mankind for all of eternity: Can Bowie act at all?Hope to keep you pondering.Matt Read more Less
