This film was a favorite of mine when it came out in 1986. I was 22 and living/doing the same things as the characters in the movie. This could have been a six month period of my life at that time. Anyway, enough reminiscing.
The cast gets it right in their portrayal of young singles in the mid 1980's. Demi Moore's performance in the breakup scene is gripping, emotional, and convincing; it will leave you feeling drained and beat, like it has just happened to YOU!
TMF_2000(previous reviewer) is right on, the look in Demi's eyes during that scene are classic, you can see/feel the pain.

Excellent story about couples, makes you laugh, cry, and pick sides in this relationships. James Belushi is funny in this movie, and Rob Lowe with Demi Moore are the typical couple starting out. If your a new couple watch this,and learn!!!!

This was the movie which made me a Fan of Demi Moore. And it remain my favorite to this day. It is the look in her eyes. The only other movie where you will find that devastating look again is in Indecent Proposal.
