Pros: Lightest thing in the world...has arch support

Cons: NO CUSHION...Great on rubberized track or SMOOTH surfaces IF you have good form

It's basically an ultra-light moccasin with an arch support.I f you have great form, are a pro, a toe-runner, or don't need the cushion, you'll FLY in these flats...they're the same weight as the road version...the same ones the top ...pros use for Marathon victories from Japan and around the world. Cons...These are NOT made for real offroad use...just a SMOOTH cross country course...as a sales associate told me..."we've had customers put cardboard in the sole to prevent the rocks from poking through"... Personally, I used cork. The rocks don't puncture through...but they sure do feel like it. Consider the Hyper-Rocketgirl XCS if you need a bit of cushion, or at least rock prevention... I will admit, it has a GREAT arch support...and good room up front if you don't have the narrowest of forefoots. If you want the lightest slipper on the market, with the tread for light off road sprinting and some high-speed marathon use, these are the shoes for you. But if you're hitting the trails...The trails will hit back. HARD. Read more Less
