Stick to the studio albums-this one is for completists only. I have it, but never listen to it. Terrible artwork too, although dont judge a book by its cover, because it is better than what the album cover makes it look like
The PolyDor remasters sound like
Check out the live version of "On And On And On". However, This album was not welcomed by the audience nor the fans when it was released in 1986 - 4 years after ABBAs breakup. Not that the fans did not want a live album from ABBA. It was the way it was put together lacking great live versions of "Summer Night City", "I've Been Waiting For You" and "Tiger".
Usually when I am exposed to a new artist like ABBA, I look for how their studio stuff sounds. If it's good, then it's highly likely they perform well live. Not in this case.
The guitar player, Lasse Wellander, ruined a couple of songs which are usually good... "Eagle" and "Does Your Mother Know?" Not to personally attack, but it sounds just completely awful. Some of the other songs are just okay. I'll have to dismiss this one CD. Hey, no band's perfect, right?
