Synopsis: A Month By the Lake (1995)

A middle-aged British woman taking her traditional holiday at Lake Como finds herself attracted to a gentleman staying at the resort, and the two become friendly companions. But when a young American babysitter flirts with her new friend the woman contrives to make him jealous with a young Italian--who ends up falling for her!

    Excellent in every way

    As far as older actors and a mildly stuffy English plot go, this was a winners choice. A month by the lake is one of the best love stories I have seen in a long time. It is a suspenseful tale of an uptight English Major and a care free english bachel...orette's carrot dangling over Italy. There is much to love in the movies scenic shots and wonderful dialogue. I would recommend this movie to every hopeless romantic that loves being thrown into a scene. Two thumbs up! Read more Less
