    Pros: Acting and special effects

    Cons: Black and white

    Not sure but might be Mickey Rooney's first movie. Must have been 16-18 years old playing an excellent Puck. First time I saw this film I must have been 13 or so and was mesmerized by the Fairies and dwarfs. The scenes in the forest where mortals... are prey to the myths are great. There is a twinkling in the atmosphere when the mythological characters appear without being seen by the other mere mortals. It is a great Shakespeare play and to me this version is still unmatched in the big screen. Read more Less
