Predictable, unoriginal, and mindless films such as Six Days & Seven Nights (1998) should never be released a first time, nor should they ever be re-released. Hoping to make a quick holiday buck, this latest movie studio ploy couples Harrison Ford's ...worst movie ever with a medicore, Travolta legal drama. For anyone who saw Six Days back in 1998, I'm sure you remember how pathetic the plot & character development was. When nothing else could go wrong, well, here come the modern-day pirates to chase the couple all over the island. argh, don't buy this movie, maitee.A Civil Action contains a better overall story line, but it moves incredibly slowly and lacks the action promoted in its title. Robert Duvall's character is great, and the moral of the movie is admirable, but the film still doesn't quite work. While watching, it may cause temporary attention deficit disorder due to the excessive longevity & boredom.Make no mistake, this is not a DVD set that anyone wants or deserves in their holiday stocking. Neither of these movies is worth $10 apiece, and Six Days & Seven Nights probably isn't even worth the value of the disc it's printed on. Read more Less
