    This is the finest (and scariest) film of this classic tale ever. Alastair Sim defines the character of Scrooge and the cast works so well together that this is the only film version of A Christmas Carol that I watch every year.

    Undoubtedly, the stand alone, best adaptation of Dicken's Classic tale. Alaster Sims is without peer in the role of Scrooge. Wonderful filming and direction. Serve up the eggnog, cozy up to a fire, and prepare yourself for a real Christmas treat!
