Pros: QUIET! And very well made refrigeration system.

Cons: Small, but I tend to buy too much wine.

There have been, IMHO, very misleading postings about this product. It runs very quietly, and keeps the wine at the dual temperatures without problems. I bought mine for under $300, and its normally at least $400. Its very well insulated, the compres...sor is warrentied for five years, the whole unit for two years, which is a solid warrenty. The wood trays absorb vibration and keep the wine sediments stable, and also add to the look and feel that complement one's higher quality wines. If you desire a small wine storage unit due to space or budget, this units is an excellent option. Favorite features include: 1. Accurate digital dual thermostatic controls (degrees displayed in either degrees F or C) for both your whites (@20 Bottles) and reds (@10 Bottles). 2. Decent temperature range down to 41 F, which really helps with chilled white wines. Most units I researched only go down to 45 F, and the extra temperature range really makes a differnce. 3. Wooden trays, which hold the bottles securely without excessive vibration to disturb sediments. The trays are very professional and well contructed. Wood does not lend itslf to rapid temperature shifts as metal trays do, so the wine does not get "shocked" due to excessive metal to glass thermal contact. 4. The unit is very well insulated. I can barely hear it when it operates. I replaced a wine cooling unit that made noice that one could hear across the room. This one is very quiet, and due to the well insulated dual pane glass door, the strong door seals, and the excellent cabinet, the unit will work without excessive noise or compressor vibration.
