    Great Camera

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 20, 2006 | 44 out of 46 found this Kodak EASYSHARE C875 review helpful

Pros: Inexpensive, Quality, User Friendly, Kodak is #1

Cons: None. Well I would prefer to have a view finder. Thats it though.

Kodak has been named #1 three years in a row by JD Power for good quality, and user friendly for cameras 200 - 300 dollars. This camera is awesome. High quality Schneider-Kreuznach lens. 5x optical zoom. A lot of very cool, useful features. This came...ra will do all the work for you or you can program your own settings for a manual use. Try one out. They are great. Read more Less

    Pros: Great picture quality

Cons: Would love for it to have a view finder, battery life

I bought this camera yesterday and could not put it down. I got great pictures of my dog running in the yard, and I even had my son jump from the steps to see if there would be any blur, and there was not any blur. The pictures came out great. I was ...very impressed. Read more Less

    Great Value

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 15, 2007 | 2 out of 2 found this Kodak EASYSHARE C875 review helpful

Pros: point and click or full manual and many choices in between, and some of the best lens glass in the business.

Cons: would like to see threading on the lens for accessory lenses

this is my second one of these. only replaced the first because it got lost in a move. bummer! anyway, you can't beat the value here. i have a complete digital slr system and am kind of a serious amateur, but i wanted a camera i could have with m...e everywhere i went and not sacrifice picture clarity or resolution. the c875 is small, fairly slim, and the lens is a schneider, which is reason enough to buy the camera. add to that all kinds of automated shooting modes, panoramic capability, 8.0 mp and a 5x zoom and you have a lot of camera for a street price of about $200. this upgrade does NOT fit older easyshare docking stations, so if you are moving up from an older one and use the station much, you will need to replace it too. Pros: crisp image many settings

Cons: sutter/review time lag, not good in low light

Again as a Canon user was hard pressed to use Kodak. It has a wonderful in depth menu for settings and tweaks.

Very good bang for the buck

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 24, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this Kodak EASYSHARE C875 review helpful

Pros: Resolution, display size, 640x480 30fps w/audio, 5x optical zoom, great lens.

Cons: A little slow between shots with flash. no manual view-finder, no image stabilization

I purchased this camera about 3 months ago, and it came with a free 2 Gig SD card for $199. However, it might benefit from a "fast" SD card (like Sandisk Ultra II high speed SD memory) since it takes a second or two to store the image (unl...ess using the burst picture mode, which only allows a few shots quickly, then you have to wait for it to catch up as it dumps to SD). Lots of features, a pretty good manual mode, good video, clear shots, and good optics make for a nice little package. Oh, and for those that have complained about battery life, I suggest getting the Emerging Power(tm) CRV3 Lithium-ion battery pack. GREAT battery life with these babies. I got mine at Radioshack with included ultra-rapid charger, but I think they were clearing them out (got them for half price). They last about twice as long as Alkaline batteries. Read more Less
