I was very surprised by the performance and price of this remote. I was sceptacle at first because I have used so called "Universal" remotes before and they didn't control half of what I wanted it to. This one does. It is the best remote for your mon...ey. This remote was so unbelievably easy to program. Usually it takes me forever to try and program a remote, but this was easy because it has an indicator light and a handy code book. I personally have a small shelf system with multiple brands and it worked on all 4 of my devices! It works especially well for "no-name" brand devices because of the Code Search button. Even if there is no known codes for the device, this remote will find them. I couldn't stand having 4 different remotes, now they're in my closet :) I was tempted to go out and buy a very expensive Universal LCD remote for about $50, until I saw this remote. If you have a small multi-brand shelf system like me, this is the remote for you! You can get one for about $10 at Radioshack. Read more Less
