"Every Night a New Surprise" is the only psych-punk number besides "99th Floor" on this LP of extremely Hendrix-influenced originals, with a bit of Stevie Winwood-like soul here and there, as well as an unusual heavy psychedelic treatment of "I Want to Hold Your Hand."

Before forming ZZ Top, Billy Gibbons was the lead guitarist of this Houston, TX, group, which released one album and a few singles in the late '60s.
