For all the haters on the post tip, you don't understand the meaning behind gangsta rap...never will, so don't diss sh*t that you know nothin' about. This album is classic Gangsta sh*t. The beats is hella tight. I think everybody that appreciates rea...l Westcoast Gangsta-made muzic should cop this one if they aint already got it. and oh yeah..."P" definetely should atleast make an album with this original style since he'll never go back 100% to it. There's still some O.G.'s around in the hood! Read more Less

Pro Reviews: 99 Ways to Die

  • All Music Guide

Master P's career continued to evolve with 99 Ways to Die, another of his several underground releases. Not much really sets this one apart from Ghetto's Tryin' to Kill Me, its closest companion, and it's not quite on the level of Ice Cream Man, though it is a big step up from Get Away Clean and Mama's Bad Boy, Master P's earliest two albums. All of these albums are mainly novelties best intended for completists and die-hard fans, and 99 Ways to Die is certainly no different.
