The second volume of Polymedia's '80s New Wave series focuses on more singles from the new wave era, most of which feature the use of synthesizers and/or drum programming. Many of the songs including Gary Numan's "Cars," Soft Cell's "Tainted Love," Kraftwerk's "The Model," Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science," and Yello's "Oh Yeah" will be familiar to the average listener. Polyrock's "Your Dragging Feet" and Dalek I Love You's "Dalek I Love You" are outofleftfield surprises; the former barely scraped the club chart upon release in 1980, and the latter will likely be more familiar to the average Brit.
