Save your money and buy Test Drive Off Road instead. This game is an embarrassment to the xbox console.

This game has wonderful realism and sweet off road vehicles to customize.

This game seemed like it was ported directly from another platform. Fit and finish was very poor. There are lots of artifacts in the 3D graphics and it has lots of strange behaviors that I don't think the game makers meant to happen. I would recommend renting it before you buy it. I am glad I did because I would have played it for a day and not want to again.

If you like to really get into off road racing then this is a good pick. If just want to race don't pick this game. If you want to think about suspension ratios and acceration to top speed ratios and aerdynamics this is the game for you. It is very challenging to design a winning car. But it is definitly worth buying

If you like off roead race games, then this is a good buy. I just bought this game nat too long ago, and I love this game. You can hop your ride up with a bunch of kool stuff like lift kits, kool toys for your engine so it can go faster. It's a real kool game if you're into that sort of thing.Was this review helpful? Either this game is weak compared to Project Gotham, or just weak in general.
I have both Project Gotham and 4x4 and can't stand to play 4x4 anymore.
The graphics are fair, the action is hardly what I would consider up to X-box standards, and navigating the menus is very hard to understand.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nothis game rocks

Decent graphics, I guess, maybe just ok, maybe not that great. OK, not that great. Same old same old. Why did I give it the 2 star instead of 1? Guess because it didn't make me pound my head against the wall to try and forget this game.

It looks good at first but after awhile it gets tiresome. You just drive around with nothing to gain. At least I haven't gained anything. Graphics are fair.
