~Operation Desert Storm started it, now Gulf War: Operation Desert Hammer means to end it Set at the beginning of the new millennium, Gulf War puts you in the new prototype ~M12 tank and on the road to ~Baghdad to "liberate the world from its malevolent oppressor." The game's premise centers around a determined ~America, committed to ridding the world of one its most dangerous dictators.

Gulf War: Operation Desert Hammer features include 18 single-player missions, a large contingent of weapons and units such as stealth fighters, helicopters, various missiles, fuel-air bombs, rocket launchers and the mainstay of the game, the ~M12 tank. Actual ~Gulf War film is interspersed throughout the game and is utilized during mission briefings.

The game supports up to eight players over both a LAN and the Internet as well as two-player action via modem and serial port. Multi-player action can be found (at the time of release) at /www.mplayer.com and /www.Heat.Net.
